⚠Producer of the TV show “Dnevnica” at the Radio and Television of Montenegro, Lejla Kašić, recently published an Instagram post about the sexual harassment she faced on the set of one of the episodes.
❗️The person accused for this act is a famous musician Rambo Amadeus who responded to these accusations in a Facebook post.
🖋In the post, he titled “Mea maxima culpa”, he goes on to explain how he doesn’t even remember what exactly he did to her, but that he doesn’t see it as sexual harassment revealing all the details about the incident, which Kašić chose not to share in her initial post.
🇲🇪 While female journalists experience gender based violence daily in the whole Western Balkans region, Montenegrin legal system doesn’t recognise sexual assault as a separate form of gender based violence.
The question arises – what will be the institutional reaction?
